What is your single most unpopular MMA opinion?

lmao look at JDS gaze at Nog with love and awe.

That's what i'd do if i ever got to meet him.

I spoke to Barnett in person about the Nog fight. I asked him how the fuck he escaped that armbar, and him dropping Nog was a big sense of pride for him, I can tell.

As it should be!

When I realized Houston Alexander was not "for real"

100% but tkoing and subbing him were super impressive to me. I just knew nog was going to murder him in the rematch and looked like he was on his way to doing just that until Mir pulled that sub out his ass.
The sub was nice, but let's not forget that Nog could've just taken the TKO win by ground and pound. I don't know wtf compelled him to want to win by submission.

He was, plus staph in the first fight. I'm glad Nog got at least the Interim belt wrapped around his waist, but that later half of his career was tought to watch, always on pins and needles if he would get blasted.
I still remember the day they scheduled Nog vs Schaub. This was right after Brendan blasted Cro Cop and they were just going to feed Nog to this fuck? In BRAZIL? I hated the matchup, hated the week leading up to it, expecting to see Nog brutally finished...but then...

The Cro Cop should never be used to credit that clown. It's like giving credit to Kevin McBride for beating Tyson.

Think about it, most of his best wins are that way.

TKO'ing people is not really his forte, even though he has a few of those here and there.

It was his trademark, but he threw that win away. Mir was never known for durability and Nog could've just kept pounding away and gotten the TKO.

That really is a low calibre of fighters, mw has long been weak outside of the big names. Riki Fukuda was the man I was backing back then, judges robbed him against Nick 'Fuck My' Ring
Dude, in 2013 MW had Silva, Belfort, Rockhold, Jacare, Machida, Mousasi, Kennedy, Bisping, Okami...apart from Weidman. Probably Im forgetting somebody.
Many dropped to WW actually to avoid such a shark tank.
Fukuda was not even top20 MW

I agree with yours, It's certainly not mine though. I have WAY more controversial ones. Several of them. but IMO cain is one of the best. Forget about goat, but in terms of his in ring performances at his peak, he's the best fighter ever. not greatest (accomplishments), but best (performance)

I agree with both of these.

Mine would probably be that Valentina shevchenko is the WMMA goat.
You can "agree" with his first one, it just makes you both objectively dumb as fuck.

Aspinall is a bum <mastermind>

Jones' chin has never truly been tested. Most of the shots he's taken throughout his career have either been deflected, glancing or rolled with. I can't recall seeing him absorb a shot that I would actually expect to drop somebody.
