I love Tapology but they need to open tab settings where we can shift between the different sports the fighters compete in. It sucks when you see a bunch of wins and losses on fighters records from other sports while trying to locate their MMA record.

You can change and save your preferences:

Sherdog always comes first for me. Because when using wiki, the fighters record is usually full of opponents without a wiki page.
So then you have to look that guy up on Sherdog anyways etc. And it's cleaner than tapology so easier to go through at first.

If I wanna know the history of cancelled bouts, grappling or exhibition fights I just switch to tapology.

I usually use Wikipedia to be honest, though it's not as complete as some of the other sources. On wiki it's all on one page, linking to other fighters and events is pretty easy. I've never used Tapology, maybe I'll give it a go.

All mentioned have to use Sherdog to be near correct for site anyways...

Otherwise wikipedia. If you click on the card you get the fight score too.

Tapologys main worth is listing cancelled events/main events even from years and years ago. Sherdog has a more complete age record than wikipedia when it comes to the old time fighters.

Otherwise wiki works the best.

Tapology is cool because it is the only one that will show fighters upcoming bouts..

* i should clarify that is if they have a fight booked..

Tapology lately, also shows how my picks are doing individually.

For some extra stats English Wikipedia is the place.

Do you (or anyone else) know a website that shows just old fight cards and not the results? I like to watch old events sometimes but want to look up the cards with no spoilers.

I come here to the dog and say they suck. You get there record almost immediately.

The UG has the most accurate ive used in the last 20yrs. None are perfectly accurate but the UG has a good ammy track record

how is wiki not running away with this more. there's so much more information there lol.

Usually Wikpedia. Sherdog is absolutely garbage outside of the forum. The writers biggest claim to fame was uncovering that Mozharov story a couple of months ago. Posting all these threads about how we should read their stories about it.

Real Bernstein and Woodward types around here. <Dany07>

Wiki can be a mess and incorrect. Also, as has been highlighted recently, nothing gets by Sherdog.

A fighter also needs a minimum of three fights in a major org to have a wiki page (at least that was true at one point). If you're looking up GSP or something then you're pretty safe with wiki. In general though, strictly for records, I don't use it.

Wiki most of the time ,because extra info and I like the layout . Sherdog , when I'm on Sherdog and just need a record , its convenient .
