Mostly vikipeedia. Sometimes sherdog if the person doesn't have a page yet.

I use an encyclopedia. Little outdated, but it works.

I just read about a new Russian prospect named Fedor? Apparently he’s going to be a pretty big thing. He’s currently on a three fight win streak.
Pretty good post, deserves more likes. Clever

Wiki can be a mess and incorrect. Also, as has been highlighted recently, nothing gets by Sherdog.

A fighter also needs a minimum of three fights in a major org to have a wiki page (at least that was true at one point). If you're looking up GSP or something then you're pretty safe with wiki. In general though, strictly for records, I don't use it.
The fact that anyone in the world can edit it whenever they want is pretty sketchy. imo

I fuck off to the Wikipedia!

i haven't seen it be wrong for a fighter record even once.

It's pretty easy to come up with examples. For instance, Bigfoot lost to Datsik in boxing yesterday. It's boxing but good luck on finding that on Bigfoot's wiki page. I can pretty easily come up with examples.

For instance, speaking of Datsik, there's a discrepancy between Wiki and Sherdog's record for him. Wiki says his record is verified by Sherdog though. Anyone can edit Wiki, but I'll trust Sherdog.

I would've assumed everyone's was Sherdog lol

That's how I found out about this site to begin with, Sherdog has always been my go to

Sherdog, unless i'm looking for when fighters go up or down in weight, or miss weight. As Wiki lists which fights they move or miss weight on. Or when they challenge for or defend a championship.

I would be on my phone so inwould choose Wikipedia on fights I’ve never seen in regards to what you’re asking.

I would seek what homeless bum was slaughtered I never heard of and then go from there.

per convenience of being on a phone

sherdog cos I log into it more often, but the info is incomplete, they should put why fights are overturned and the original result

Mods how about a poll

Sherdog

Wiki

Tapology

Other

?
I wonder how many ppl are aware that every tapology page of a fighter has a link to their wikipedia (if available) & sherdog under FIGHTER DETAILS on top of links to their social media, bestfightodds & ufcstats page. Even if you preferred wikipedia or fight finder, tapology having their links available defeats that purpose of exclusively using the other two for browsing records.
