What is your greatest one time octagon performance from some fighter?

The one time my jaw dropped was Conor vs Aldo.
The conor-aldo didn't shock me. It should have but it didn't. My reaction was like 'yup.'

Conor did it again. It was amazing. But the talk leading up to the fight you could tell he was just in aldo's head. You almost felt sorry for the poor guy. It was that bad. I don't think I've ever seen mental warfare like that in the UFC before or after

His eddie performance was masterclass.

Holly is still headlining main events five years later based on this flawless victory

She really should have ran it back with holly even though she wasn't the champion anymore. Just as a tune up. The way valentina was handling an improved version of holly leads to me believe if ronda just stuck to her judo base, she'd be sweeping and controlling holly.

She would still need to go to a proper striking coach to hide her setups.

It might have been his level of competition, but the Mark Munoz that mauled Leben was an absolute monster and looked like a potential future candidate for a middleweight title fight...

Munoz has never reached that level of ferocity prior to this fight or after...

Havent read the responses, hope I'm the first to post this

so, not "best" in the traditional sense. He got the shit beat out of him for like 90% of the fight. BUT, he had one of the greatest comebacks EVER, against a guy that was undefeated and supposed to walk through him, made the crowd absolutely ROAR to life in a way very, very few fighters ever achieve. Hell, his show of unbreakable toughness, determination, and never say die attitude even made Joe cry.

I will always be a fan, and always root for this guy regardless of who he faces for this performance.

hard to hit those high peaks ever again after this happens to you:

one of the most beautiful, savage, barbaric awe inspiring shots/finishes of all time. Hell you could almost make this its own post for the thread for Weidman.

I liked the Modaferri win over Barber. It was clear Rachel was 'used' to hype Barber and probably give her a titleshot, if she beat Rachel. Odds where pretty crazy and I feel it is a stand out win by Roxy, being it in the fall of her career.

Definitely a good performance, especially since she was able to showcase some of her striking at times...

But Modaferri had already beaten the likes of Coenen, LaRosa, Honchak, and Howe...

Barber was a noticeable step down in competition, in my opinion.

Well, I sort of agree. It's more that Roxanne is 38 (?) and (in my opinion) mostly a stepping stone for talents at this point. At this stage of her career, it was a surprising and pretty remarkable win for me. I always like old dogs beating the hyped talents btw

Might Mouse fights come to mind. Pick one.
