Misery is much better quality then Bride , it’s an actual real movie in comparison, there’s way better fantasy movies then Bride but Bride is just one of those movies you can keep watching so i guess it depends on preference.
I’d say Misery is his best work and could have done much more thrillers he seemed to have a knack for it with knowing where to put the camera and make scenes much more intense for real drama .
This is Spinal Tap is one of my favorite comedies of all time, but The Princess Bride is fairy tale perfection.

Those four stand above the others for me, but he had so many great movies. The American President is an underrated gem. Misery probably suffers because it's a hard movie to enjoy which is ironic because that only reinforces why it's so great.

Misery was a big production, Princess pride used puppets and cheap effects for a fantasy film of 16 million, Misery used practical effects and overall much better quality that should be apparent to an adult watching a fun movie as opposed to one with a much more big motion picture that had a bigger budget .
Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies of all time, easy choose there
I didnt realize he made Stand By Me, Misery or A Few Good Men til I was looking at his filmography after this story broke, dang, that dude had an A plus top notch #1 resume under his belt
