Too many great games to choose a favorite. Played super tecmo bowl the most probably. I have a bunch of the ones listed so far. Need to get a TV and dust off the nes.

"Mike Tyson's Punch Out!"

That was it. I can even remember when they removed Mike, and put in Mr. Dream. It probably wasn't even that long in between versions, but back then it seemed like a lifetime. I remember playing both versions as if they were different.

Honorable mentions:

Bubble Bobble
Kung-Fu
Mario 3(only because my dad got us a bootleg Famicon version)
Xevious
Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout(fuck AVGN. That game was fun)
Contra
Super C

Legend of Zelda
Dragon Warrior
Final Fantasy
Tetris
Willow

I remember that being a really fun game. I still have a physical copy of it. I tried to play it a few years ago and I forgot how hard that game was.

Game is so hard. I'm not sure I ever even beat it.

IMO Tecmo World Wrestling was the goat NES wrestling game with Pro Wrestling as a close second. I never owned it, but I used to rent it all of the time. The WCW game was fun as well.

Pro wrestling was awesome. I create Starman on every WWE smackdown game. The creature from the black lagoon was cool too. The WCW game had a boss character at the end. More wrestling games need that.

One of my favorites. Got it for my birthday one year.
