Another game I loved as a kid, that I haven't seen mentioned here, is Rygar.

rygar got me through some tough times as a kid. great adventure game, those songs are burned into my head.

Super Mario Bros 1, 2, 3...I only played Battletoads in its 16 bit form

Have any of you played the Flash Game Abobo's big adventure? You play as Abobo this guy from Double Dragon

And it's a mash up of a bunch of old Nintendo game levels such as Punch Out, Zelda, Mega Man, Super Mario Bros, Pro Wrestling, Contra, Balloon Fight, Urban Champion, and Double Dragon.

Check out the trailer...

Here's a link to the game.

A tie between RBI Baseball and Super Mario Bros 3. RBI Baseball is one of the most underrated games on the NES. I still play it occasionally.

I think the best was baseball stars, seemed way ahead of its time.

Others are river city ransom, tecmo bowl, final fantasy (especially the third one in Japanese), punch out, ice hockey, I know I'm forgetting some.

When it comes to favorites.....i dont know. Punch out, metroid, and legend of zelda ALWAYS get played when revisiting an emulator.

My first RPG was Magic of Schiarezedesdaded or whatever so I wonder if i would enjoy Dragon Warrior.

RBI Baseball
Contra
Castlevania II
Tetris
Jaws
Punchout
