wow dude you are making +100 k Euros ? Ridiculous. That is a ton of money. I don´t even care to try to make alot o money, I don´t even make a medium amount. It´s like I don´t need a lot of cash. No hunger in me.
As you know, taxes, social security and all takes away almost half of that. My wife doesn t earn much and I have kids in private school. I also own a house where shit goes broken and needs repair.

Trust me that I hardly spend a dime on myself and it‘s difficult to put money aside. So it certainly doesn t feel like s ton of money.

yeah I calculated it after taxes you might get 5k a month. They take half when you make a extra high amount. You got a house in Germany ? So you settled here ? What town ? A house outside the city or in the city ?
How much you paying for private school and what is the purpose of it ? I only seen it where I worked security for rich private school kids who paid something like was it 5-10 k a month, like Diplomats childreen and milionaire kids. And we got paid minimum wage there for security, it was not my real sight just ocassionaly there. But they guys were happy cause they got free food sometimes. And it was super easy work. Rich people are also very nice, easy to work with.

What Steuerklasse are you and your wife ? Someone is 2 someone 5 I forgot how that goes. Since you earn a lot you are the 22% tax payer but due to high salary it goes up to 40-50% ? And your wife earns less but she got the worst tax category cause she just earns you guys extra so her base tax is like 35% ?

I was never married I always pay around 33%, Steuerklasse 3. Now I´m getting my tax return for the last 4 years, predicted at 5800 euros, the Steuerberater gets 600 for making it. Pretty neat. Free money. I earned it though. I paid like 800 e taxes each month.

I prefer not to give personal details, Bratan, hope you understand. And yes the net amount is roughly 5K/ month plus bonus so as you can see it‘s not a lot.
But I value the German social system. They take a lot but We are well taken care of. Access to top tier medical system for free, unemployment benefits for like 2/3 of your salary for up to like 12 months if things go to shit. Of course some bad people take advantage of it. But it‘s worth it for the people in need whose lives don‘t get destroyed by an illness or bad luck at work. Germany bless.

But you can share what job you do ? You must´ve said it before, I just forgot.

And bring me my money soon. You know, the gold we talked about. Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof on a Saturday night. In a bag.

I work in the financial industry

Come here to Frankfurt we'll have a coffee by the financial centrum. Where I used to work.
I used to come a lot to FFM. Everyone likes to shit on it but I actually like the city. The Hbf area is sketchy AF as soon as the sun goes down though.

Im a homeless dude in Atlanta. I am even borrowing a dude's phone to type this.

7 people in the Owning class, that's fucken impressive.

You do know the European Central Bank and other big times banks are on the HBF. 2 minute walk. I worked security at JP Morgan and the HBF is a 2 minute walk to it.

It's not sketchy it's apocalyptic on a friday or saturday night.

You do realise that you're talking to one of those "bad people" right?

This is exactly what @Welfareho is doing currently.

Yes i do know that, i worked for a bank in that area

You mean Trabaho is on unemployment benefits?
I won‘t judge. Not too long ago I quit a job I didn‘t like without having the next one lined up. It took longer than I thought to find the next one and I was a couple of weeks away from cashing in unemployment because 3 months without salary or cash flow will eat up your savings extremely fast. I don‘t recommend it, hence people taking unemployment benefits. What I did out of pride last time I will never do again.

Upper class.

But with enough financial knowledge to know income doesn't mean shit compared to net asset value.
Income is what you pay tax on, real wealth comes from what you get /have which isn't taxed as harshly as worked income.

Upper Class based on the numbers.

I outright own my house and save a good chunk every month (which is subsequently reinvested). With that being said, I try and live like I am lower middle class. I keep monthly expenses to under $3000 (for everything) and base my budget on the same salary I made back in 2016.
