What is the moon? A star or a planet?

Remember Soleil Moon Frye? AKA Punky Brewster?

I was thinking of anti-science people when I wrote that. "I believe (vaccines cause autism/evolution is a theory/global warming isn't being caused by humans/I have any idea what's going on when I talk about stem cells/etc.) and I'm not in any way qualified to have an opinion, but please publish it in your publications."

Infuriating. If you're a farmer, you're probably an expert at farming so shut the holy hell up about astronomy.

Single classing is for suckers, unless you're a druid.

wut.

Expand story plz.

Just for laughs, ask those around you 'which one is closer to the Earth, the Sun or the Moon?' - hilarity will ensue.

Hey dude, would one exploding moon decimate the earth?

I'm far from an expert in anything to do with space studies, but if the moon exploded, I am fairly certain the bits of it that came into the Earth's atmosphere and hit the Earth would do some major damage.

That being said, I do get your point.

not much else to say, sadly. she had a friend at my school and she visited for mardi gras. ended up at a house with her and a bunch of other people smoking up. don't think i spoke with her. :icon_cry2

I thought that the Moon's near circular orbit made the capture theory questionable.

Also, here's a quote I once read in a book by some dude named Bruce Cathie (fringe researcher). Your post reminded me of it and I found it interesting.

"The Moon does not actually revolve around the Earth as it would first appear. What in fact occurs is that the two bodies mutually revolved around their centre of mass. This point is called the barycentre. One complete revolution occurs during one sidereal month. Calculation by modern instruments shows that the mean distance of the barycentre from the centre of the Earth is 4,672 kilometres. Therefore, the point of revolution is approximately 1,694.58 kilometers below the Earth's surface."

All orbits are center of mass but there is a bit of a lag due to apogee and perogee. The center of mass is shifting as the distance opens and closes.

On elongation of the orbit velocity of when a capture took place should be a factor. Maybe the moon moved in slowly do to some other gravitation force slowing the capture rate. :)

Story news more Punky Brewster motorboating.

Speaking of, what happened to motorboatjones?

The moon is gonna turn red when the magical sky fairy comes back and satan is gonna turn into a dragon and knock 1/3 of the stars down to earth too. Now how messed up is that mythical shit. The bible says the moon was created as a light too btw

dont care how stupid, I totally WOULD.

damn, havent seen milfs like since the early 2000s. Shes got that cheesy Gosselin hair and everything. hnnnnnnnng

Really ? she's the " I'd like to speak to a manager " type. eww

Dude! I was thinking the same thing! That you never see porn MILFs when actual MILF hair.
"milfs" in porn are yesterday's "teens" that got old and had too much surgery. sad really, so few legit real milfs in the industry. why do I want milf porn with balloon titted, leathered skin duckfaces covered in tats?

Really ? she's the " I'd like to speak to a manager " type. eww

yes, thats exactly why! you never had to deal with them irl and wanna hatefuck em because theyre so frustrating and demanding??

It's a hemorrhoid. I can't watch the video, but they aren't teaching my kids enough science in school.. I honestly think it's the old 'keep the plebs ignorant' strategy that has always been pretty popular. You either understand science but have an ignorant moral compass, or you are ignorant to the natural world but have faith in good. Amazing how easily the media has made sure you can't really have both and be enlightened. If you were smart AND had a strong moral compass, well you might not like what the super rich and their media are doing to us. Can't have that.

You have been exposed to some substandard education systems if you really believe that.
