I've been on quite the alcoholic binge lately, and have added a couple extra layers of fat, and would like to lose about twenty pounds . I enjoy doing cardio, but was just curious if when I lift weights, should I do lower weights, with more reps? Does that cut fat better than lifting heavier weights. At the moment I don't care about bulking up at all. Just getting rid of this extra fat that I've packed on. I also have a Heavy/speed bag combo at my house. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in adavance. Also apologies if this is the wrong forum.

When I'm cutting weight I wake up early and get a little protein in my system then do some cardio and abs. I eat 4-5 small healthy meals a day and do my workouts.

For me, NO alcohol, HIIT cardio mornings with weights(not too much), LSD cardio (if i have the time) in the PM. Small frequent nutritionally dense meals. LOTS of H2O, and plenty of sleep. I try to stick to the basics, the simpler I keep it, the better it works.
