What is the best seat when going to see live UFC

i sit with the ring girls, usually in between Arianny and Brittany

The closest you can get to cage and still see over the top of the cage. I find it distracting to look through the cage, but maybe that's just me. Went to a IFL fight card years back and they used a ring like in PRIDE, WAY better to watch from ringside.

You must be affluent enough to afford seats to really get the experience

nah, just fortunate that I have made some friends who gamble a lot and get me comped seats whenever I'm in town and there's a UFC there lol.

Sitting at home.

Or if the card looks weak on paper, like last night's UFC 221, go to BWW for the main event. $25 for food, beer and the headliner > $65 at home on PPV.

A big disadvantage of a cage it that is obscures more of the view than a ring. You will spend more time looking at the big screens than the cage.

Lower level 1st row behind owners section. Seats 5&6

Cageside for the first event, wasn't bad. Skybox for the second event, fucking awesome (even though the first event had a much better card).

If I'm not in the skybox, it's honestly not worth it. The atmosphere is electric, but not worth the money if you're just sitting lower/mid/upper bowl. If I'm not in the skybox, I'm at a local bar with buddies beside the big screen or at home on my couch.

sorry, what is skybox?

and by nosebleeds seat they mean ringside?

In my experience you either end up watching the big screen or wishing you could see the big screen.

And ultimately when your going through all the bull shit and trying to make the trip back home, your wondering why you didn't just by the ppv and watch from the best seat in the house, your couch.

get nosebleed seats. serious
I've only been once so I have nothing to compare it to, but I was up high in the 'cheap' seats and I had an unimpeded view of most of the Octagon, plus is what close to the toilets somI beat the rush when Buffer told the audience that there was going to be a short break and to "do what you gotta do!"

This.

Unless you're on the floor section or next few rows up, you'll be watching the screen most of the time anyway. And those seats are expensive as fuck. I guess it depends on your budget, but if you do go for nose bleeds try to get ones with a good view of the big screens that surround the arena.

I honestly never want to go to a live event again, unless it's the old Pride crowds in attendance. Or I somehow get the tickets for free.

The crowd was the worst part of the whole experience, by far. Sitting around a bunch of drunk adult men yelling the stupidest, most immature shit for 5+ hours got annoying really, really quickly.

I’ve been to two events, once in the nosebleeds and once up close in the really expensive seats. Up high we could see all of the action, but closer you get to be around a lot of famous people coming and going. I saw Miesha Tate and Bryan Carraway and Frank Mir and stood up to say hi and Frank was fucking massive. Really nice guy though.

The one problem with live event is that there is no play by play. I’d probably never go to another live event. I like to hear play by play.

Sat in row 18 for UFC 218 and they we're great seats for a decent price

Skybox is premium seating and is just another name for Luxury Box/Executive Box/Corporate Box etc. Catered food and drink service, own private bathroom etc.

Nosebleed seats are the upper bowl/rafters so you look down upon the octagon. Most arenas or stadiums are "tiered", with two or three levels, nosebleeds are at the very top.

You’re going to the fight for the atmosphere and that’s what you are paying for. Doesn’t really matter where you sit. You’re always looking up at the big screen or through the cage. Have fun hang out by the bathroom and you’ll meet lots of fighters

Did they stop selling by the headsets? They used to have little radios so you could hear the play by play.
