Whoever had the idea to put this tea drinking snobby pussy in the role as a badass secret agent...

Serious recently bias happening here

Everyone knows Sean Connery is GOAT

It's a tough call really.....
The GOAT bond is Connery.... but Craig has done a great job.

Bring on Idris! Black Bond baby!!!

No questioning his GOAT status. But unfortunately Casino Royale is the best film in the franchise. Imo.
It may be the most popular but there’s no way on gods green earth it’s the best.

You know there are a lot of good options, but there's only one that let's you say the word ... OCTOPUSSY.

Im a Moore guy so its,
Live and Let Die
The Spy who loved E
For you eyes Only
Moonraker
Octopussy

Then Connery

Then I dont care much for the rest.

I’d rank top 5:

Goldfinger
Casino Royale
Skyfall
From Russia with Love
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service/The Spy Who Loved Me

I have a feeling though that Casino Royale and Skyfall appeal to me even more than those Connery classics at this point. But I think all of those are great.

The Living Daylights for me. Dalton was the GOAT Bond, Maryam D'Abo was the GOAT Bond girl, and Russians are the GOAT antagonists

Most underrated Bond film in my opinion. It’s an easy top 10 for me and it’s a great debut for Dalton. It has flashes of what was cool about the older films but also has its own identity and Dalton’s intense Bond persona was an obvious precursor to Craig.

Otherwise it had all the elements of a great Bond film- great Bond love interest, good villains in Krabbe’s more comedic role contrasted with Don Baker’s more intense weapons dealer, entertaining plot and globetrotting, solid henchman in Necros.

A View to a Kill, Moore’s final film, is probably one of the weakest Bond films. Living Daylights really was a step in the right direction.

Weird thing is many seem to prefer License to Kill as far as Dalton films go. It’s well done, sure but I don’t feel it’s on the predecessor’s level.

George Lazenby. Marg Simpson's favorite Bond.

haha

(with hesitancy after learning it’s the voice of Pierce Brosnan): Mmm well okay. But only cause he was Remington Steele...he was Remington Steele, right?

This is my type of Bond.

Imagine saying this nowadays

Casino royale is one of the best but the last act, Venice, is awful.
I picked Golden Eye

Yeah I was always my favourite of the 80's Bonds and honestly I always disagreed that Dalton lacked humour, I think he carried off a dry wit very well indeed. I actually felt Licence To Kill was a much blander film because it cut out so much of that aspect, ended up as Miami Vice but without the visual flair of Mann.

I think its hard to pick out a "best" Bond though because really the franchise has shifted so much, you have quite straight spy thrillers and you have camp fun fests, both of which I enjoy when done well.

My top 8 would probably be...

From Russia with Love
You Only Live Twice
The Spy Who Loved Me
For Your Eyes Only
The Living Daylights
Goldeneye
Casino Royale
Skyfall
