The Spy Who Loved Me has a pretty good claim to that crown...Skyfall has the best opening to a Bond film imo

60s and 70s are the GOAT era of Bond films. The Living Daylights for me. Dalton was the GOAT Bond, Maryam D'Abo was the GOAT Bond girl, and Russians are the GOAT antagonists
George Lazenby. Marg Simpson's favorite Bond.Best Bond
1 Connery
2 Craig
3 Moore
4 Brosnan
5 Dalton
I don't even count the other dude who only made 1 movie.

I really don't get all the love for Skyfall, very average movie IMO. HATED the whole mansion assault ending sequence
I haven't been a fan of Daniel Craig as Bond or his other Bond films, but Skyfall was awesome.
In short, how Bond was in a weakened state, the villain's relationship with M mirrored Bond's, and Judi Dench's M having an significant role... all perfectly intertwined within the plot to make the best Bond film since... well... I'd have to rewatch ever Bond film to say exactly when, but lets just say its even better than Goldeneye, and I consider Pierce Brosnan a significantly better Bond than Craig.
And, for me, Spectre fell flat.

People are too tough on the Craig Bond films. They are all amazing, they just suffer from being like the Mission impossble and Bourne films.
What does that mean? To suffer like MI and the Bourne films?
