Movies What is the 3 best vampire movies?

Lost Boys
1980s Fright Night
The 80s one with Jim Carey (before he was a star)

80s had best vamp movies

Blade
Blade 2
Blade Trinity

Unless Underworld counts, then I might replace 2 or Trinity. I don't think I've seen any other vampire movies lmao

Wolfmen have nards...
That too. But the fat kid having a wrapped pizza slice in his pocket always makes me laugh LOL

"MY NAME IS HORACE!"

Fucking kid took out almost as many monsters as the older teen banger

Dude firing the arrow with the mummy's slack attached into a tree while they were driving wad also hilarious. As was him calling the vamp chick's skanks

1. 30 Days of Night
2. Fright Night
3. Kolchack: The Night Stalker
4. The Lost Boys
5. Batman Vs. Dracula

for the artsy fartsy is " The Hunger " with Catherine Deneuve , Susan Sarandon and David Bowie

and then the more recent " Only Lovers Left Alive " .... living for centuries is apparently boring for vampires

can't forget " Blacula " yes it's about a black dracula , fun movie

I think Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) is my favorite. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but there is a palpable sense of dread throughout. Also, the characterization of Dracula is more interesting that other iterations. He is a pathetic, depressed, nihilistic incel, yet still very dangerous.
It's a mesmerising movie, good choice

30 Days of Night is not a good movie imo, however the overhead shot of the massacre in the show is fucking brilliant makes it worth a watch.

My top three are (in no particular order)

Van Helsing (also my top werewolf movie), the most fun I’ve had at a monster movie. Its watchability is fantastic and I watch it every few years.

Blade 2- Blade one almost gets the nod here but the shitty cgi at the end takes it down just a notch.

From Dusk Till Dawn- stupid fun and gore and prime Hayek.

Honorable Mentions.

Sinners- movie was fucking brilliant, can’t wait to see it again. Combo of From Dusk till Dawn with some Robert Johnson tossed in.

Transylvania 6500- Gena Davis and the movie is just so much fun

Interview With The Vampire - Should be everyone's #1.
From Dusk Till Dawn
Lost Boys

And there should be an 'Action-Vampire' sub-genre.

Blade 2
Underworld
Van Helsing

Love the mentions for Van Helsing

I enjoyed John Carpenter's Vampires even though it's VERY 90s lol
