From what I remember, Rich got hit with more shots in the 2nd fight, but overall took more damage in the 1st fight due to that knee that broke his nose. Both fights showed he did not belong in there with Silva.

The angle on those knees to the body was wonderful, that little tweak so the knee just kind of glazed the right spot every time instead of full force to gut. And then bam, right up the middle.
