What is Daniel Cormier’s legacy?

One of the best to ever do it. And the greatest rival of the greatest of all time.

And lots of memes and gifs.
This. Watching him dominate LHW after losing to Jon, then losing to him again in his return and still going up and winning the title at hw really shone light on the disparity between Jon and the rest of the division. Sadly his success is probably Jones’ strongest argument for goat.

That's dumb he won't the heavyweight title fair ans square and would've won it years ago if it weren't for Cain

Yeah and he wouldn't have won it if he wasn't LHW champ first. He'd be retired at that point probably.

could of been one of the goats if it wasnt for jon

Lost twice (decisively) to Jones at LHW, was only champion in Jon's absence. Two weight class champion, which puts him in elite company. But, lost 2 of 3 to Stipe. Probably top 5 at LHW, but didn't fight enough at HW to be considered among the greats. Overall a very good career, but I wouldn't place him among the all-time greats.

That's a ridiculous thing to say. Cormier wasted years in lhw he was better at heavyweight than light heavyweight. He wouldve had the most heavyweight title defenses not Stipe

An elite fighter who unfortunately could never be the best in either division and then turned a bit of a UFC shill.
