Not all ground beef is the same though. I buy half a steer every year and that burger needs a egg binder or it falls apart.100%.
I tried this. I remember Gordon Ramsay even gave a restaurant he helped with a hamburger recipe that called for this shit. I thought maybe I did it wrong, so I tried a bunch of different methods, and recipes, but there's no getting around it: it's a goddamn meatloaf on a bun minus the tomato sauce or ketchup. It's putrid. Ground beef doesn't need egg yolk as a "binder", ffs, it already has plenty of its own fat.
