For those who don't now, Cus D Amato was Mike Tyson's trainer.
Palhares just has the same body type as Tyson. I can't help but look at him and think that he could pull off the peek-a-boo style like a champ if he was properly trained in it.
Can't you picture Palhares pulling off these combos?
A few years ago when he was still in the UFC, this is what I was hoping for. I was hoping that he could get his striking on point and that he'd be a champ.
The dude's just a monster BJJ finisher AND a monster explosive athlete. You don't get those 2 together often at all. I can't think of any others. It's just unfortunate that he seems to have missed having a brain.
Imagine that guy hitting you with hooks and uppercuts. You know it would hurt. That and monster BJJ.. world champ material.
