I'm sure a lot of people would take away from cain's performance, calling him pillow-fisted and that he got lucky. We'd probably hear some people calling the decision a bad or close one. It's amazing how a bruised fighters face (or lack thereof) can impact the overall significance of their opponent performance. But the fact is that people's face bruise and bleed differently. Some fighter will never bleed even after being hit a hundred times. Then their opponents get called pillow-fisted.
This is actually something people had been saying about cain, how his punches are weak and he's just a wrestler who can't strike. You won't hear those people anymore, why? Because of JDS's face. But cain has fought other guys before and some of them didn't look much bruised at all after the fight, like kongo and rothwell. What does that mean? that cain was weak then? no it means that you can't judge somebodies power based on the visible damage on their opponents face since people bruise/bleed differently.
