What I don't understand about Sean O'Malley

I'm not saying O'Malley wasn't landing on him all fight, he was. He wasn't able to drop him and it pretty much exposed that O'Malley's punching power may not really be as powerful as people thought it was. I think lots of fighters in the top 10 will be able to eat his shots like Kris was able to. Vera wasn't fazed by O'Malley's strikes, I don't think others will be fazed either.
Vera got lucky and acted like he just won a belt. Before Sean's ankle buckled, he was picking Vera apart.

I honestly can't remember how the fight was going before that. Seemed like it didn't last long.

He's gonna lose his next couple fights and have to resort to holding onto Takeshi 69's pocket.

Bellator is the best he wouldn't be able to hang over here

You've never seen O'Malley fight? You're missing out. Like him or not, fights are very entertaining. Even when he loses, it's hilarious lol
I haven't it seems like the UFC is putting on a watered down card every week and it gets boring, I only watch the ones that interest me now. He's obviously talented enough to make it to the UFC. But I can't respect a guy who gets another man's, especially a chomo/ snitches name tatted on him.

Yea I feel you on that lol. That's beyond lame to me. Weird as fuck too.

Things got a bit real when he fought Vera who was his last step up and he got destroyed in 5 secs from the ground and put out. He fought for an ammy title back in the day and quit from the softest back of the head shot in history. It was better than Aljo acting at least Aljo actually took a big shot.

shot is at 30 secs.

About 1:23 shows him being carried out by two coaches...

He walked away from the Moutinho fight with more damage than Moutinho and lets not forget he popped for Peds. He has been in the UFC since 2016. Fight ranked guys or leave at this point.

Didn't he pop twice?

Because he knows he is not that good and he is prolonging his career

These days you go to the UFC for exposure. Paige gets paid more from Onlyfans than from her fighting career, Woodley is paid more for boxing a youtuber than for his championship matches but neither would have that opportunity without the UFC.

Get clout with the UFC, get paid somewhere else.
At this point i doubt that Paige is making bank anywhere, she might squeeze another payday from BKFC depending on how good was her contract but at this point i had kinda forgot about her...she is hot but not onlyfans hot.

If you fight in the UFC you get the most views, and his claim to fame are Instagram followers. Get the most of those and negotiate a better contract based on them. It's a strategy dependent on fame, not merit, to get paid.

It's backwards because if he'd beat ranked opponents he'd get a better contract easier. More followers as well. Wants to avoid the risk. Ironically it's not why people would want to watch him. A tough loss against a top 5 in a good fight would net him followers, as well.

It wasn't luck. If you know what to look for O'Malley broke. He got some strikes in and Vera wasn't really fazed and was starting to pressure O'Malley. O'Malley faked that injury as a way out and got KO for it with an elbow. He was trying to save face. That's why he was dancing the next day, he wasn't injured. You can see it in O'Malley's face, he started getting stressed and nervous the longer the fight went and him seeing how his strikes weren't having a real effect on Vera.

That's why he never tried rematching Vera even though he can and was given the opportunity to. This is also why he is challenging the lowest ranked fighter and also calling out non ranked fighters for his next fight. He isn't trying to fight top fighters because he doesn't feel like he's ready. If he was confident he would call out Vera for a rematch or someone else higher ranked. Yet he isn't, so that tells you everything you need to know.

He dropped him in the first. Dude just has a good chin.
We'll see how good his chin is, he's fighting soon so we'll see. Both Kris and O'Malley is fighting soon so we'll see if Kris's chin continues to hold up or if O'Malley is able to get another KO/TKO. He's picking fights where he's stylistically the favorite so the odds will be in his favor.

Dumb video. Never showed the shot that put him down. Nice try clown

Yeah he landed but he couldn't really drop or finish him. The ref gifted him a TKO, that wasn't a TKO. O'Malley was running back and stumbling all over the place just trying to avoid Kris's pressure, just pressure alone and no strikes. Imagine a power striker in Kris's place instead actually throwing power shots. It wouldn't end well for O'Malley. Kris wasn't even a UFC fighter. He was brought on specifically to try and make O'Malley look good for that specific fight.
Guy had a chin. Sugar destroyed that guys face most would have been tko’d earlier. Clown
