.....the dude needs to hurry up and defend his title against a very deserving Aldo, or relinquish the belt.

He's not relinquishing the belt. UFC 202 rematch was announced 6 months after McGregor got the title, so he is due for the fight in August. Then after that if he keeps stalling or he gets a title shot elsewhere we can riot. But my guess is he WILL defend after 8 months with the FW belt, his marketability and being one of Dana's favs notwithstanding.

6 months later is kind of a tight spot to be in business wise. You want to keep the semblance of a legitimate title holder for the public, but don't want to miss out on an opportunity in case McG loses to a FW challenger and breaks his promise of two concurrent titles.
