What happens if a fighter shoves a ref during a fight?

Jason High shoved a referee after a UFC fight. Nothing violent, just aggressive, a pissed but light, get the fuck off me shove. He was suspended 1 year by the New Mexico AC, but more importantly the UFC also cut him for it. He went to the minors.
