Always been curious in terms of what a guy like Till would have done after he made weight. I would imagine they would have to ease into the eating or is it a case of eating and drinking as much as you can?

Fighters make weight?

They drink Monster and eat pizza for the carbo loading

Drinks lots of fluid with added electrolytes, eat some clean meals I’d imagine.

They rehydrate like crazy.

In one hour Till rehydrated to 191 pounds and WB 180.

Monster? Nope. They’d piss out more than they took in.

Lots of carbs and lots electrolytes. Also they IV like mad and hope USADA doesn’t visit.

Clean? Nope. Carbs carbs carbs greasy greasy greasy sodium sodium.

Ain’t getting back to weight on salad with low fat oil. In fact that could kill you.

Exactly that same as a hangover, hydrate and carb up with plenty of salt.

Are those numbers real? What the hell. I thought that a body can’t absorb fluids that fast. I guess it’s different when you dried yourself out like they do...

Or maybe IVs help, like the poster above suspected. Push a couple of bags in.. just for starters.

most go about it the wrong way and go smash a ton of unnecessary drinks/food down their face like the bodybuilding world

The only experience I have is the one my kickboxing trainer (who is a female ibf champion) told me: since she didn't cut much weigh, because she had to be weighted in the same day, she only stop eating the day before, drinking as little as possible and after the weigh in she drank water and ate pasta with honey (fucking weird.) If I recall correctly, it was a huge bowl of pasta and then only water and fruit/peanuts, but not much.

One more thing Fightpass should be showing it's subscribers instead of or in addition to the terrible prelims they stick on there.

In Forrest Griffin's first book, he said food made him sick after cutting so he stuck to egg whites and distilled water.

Well say you drink 8 lbs of water. That 8 lbs is going to stay in you whether your body absorbs it or not until you piss.

Aldo admitted using IVs despite the ban and joked that USADA can’t catch him.

Another example of how fighters are stupid Bros.

8 lbs in your bladder ain’t helping you in a fight. There is a limit to absorption and kidneys.

Dudes like Till are 100% using IVs.

I was just giving an example of how him weighing 191 doesn't mean his body is completely hydrated up to 191. His body just took in that much mass to make him 191.
