What happened to Jason "Mayhem" Miller!!!?

He tried the same shit on my brother when he was a teenager. He tried to drop kick my brother in the back during tryouts during the "wrestler on the back" sequence of a match. Dude has been a tool for quite sometime

Where was the coach?

I can only imagine how ballistic a wrestling coach would be if a wrestler injured another wrestler on the team. Specially if this was the 90s and I think some coaches would put hands on kids.

So you mentioning him happy, I thought the same, but a few years back I rewattched the GSP fight, and in between rounds, he had a smile on his face, but said something in a really pissed off manner. I can't remember what exactly, but I remember thinking his facial expression and his tone to what he said were polar opposite. I have a feeling whatever turmoil that's inside him has been there far longer than we realize.

I am now watching the fight:

Im not really sure how you can be interested in MMA, be on sherdog, and not already know this.
Especially watching when Mayhem had his show who had no idea about Mayhem's downfall...unless he look a 10-year break from MMA or something.

This was the 90s and the head coach was off on the opposite of the mat/ assistant coach was watching and he was the more softer loving type so he wasnt gonna get in between but he let his vets handle business when needed. They didnt fight him just manhandled him and made him look like a chump from my bros account. He didnt land the kick but attempted. This was in North Carolina

Remember watching him in that Bully show where he beat the cr*p out of a school bully.

I heard from 2nd hand account he was making fun of one of the wrestlers on the HS team that committed suicide but was well liked and the varsity guys whipped his ass outside the gym. I think he has alot of resentment towards his father and in high school sports where he tried to find a place to belong.

I saw the thread about the podcast with Rampage and Karo Parisyan. They talked about Mayhem Miller and I remember him having his own TV series and he was on TUF as well. Despite not having the best UFC record on the planet, he achieved great success more so as an MMA personality than a fighter.

He went from this:

He is 42 in this pic and I don't want to hear shit about age. Karo, Rampage, Hughes, Lawler ,GSP, Bisping ,Serra, Cro Cop and Diaz look the same aside from weight gain or receding hairline. That and they had a much more extensive fighting career longer in duration and much more active in competition. This dude was doing tons of TV shows.
Lots & lots of drugs + lots & lots of CTE + lots & lots of mental health issues.

Why are so many videos edited like this? Why are the breaths, the short silences, between sentences edited out? It's not like by doing this the author saves lots of time by getting rid of these things.
It's infuriating.
The audio and vision keeps jumping forward throughout the video. Sounds so unnatural.
Unfortunately this happens more and more. WHY is this done?

It has already been said, but I still remember his huge fanbase with the Mayhem Monkeys. Sad he went downhill hard.

For the longest time, I thought he was just putting on an act for the 'Mayhem' persona, but the guy truly has mental issues. And I think the reason it went unchecked for so long was because people around him thought the same.

Exactly
The smile he was wearing during the GSP fight was that of a deranged person. Not a happy smile/smirk like lets say Yoel Romero.

This is probably the most recent video of him that's on Youtube at the moment. Looks like he's doing a little bit better these days than the people in this thread perceive.

It's too bad about Miller. He was smart and charismatic and he fought the best. But Miller seemed to me like an angry guy behind the scenes.

f'n lol at thinking miller was charismstic and let alone SMART.
guy was always an unstable and over the top goof.
