What game would you pick for a modern day remake?

Was going to mention Battlezone II: Combat Commander.

Then I find out it got remastered in 2018, so that's pretty cool.

Time splitters 2
Freedom fighters
Red Faction
Battlefield bad company 2
Pretty much came to post some version of this

SOA has aged well thanks to the art style, it just needs to be remastered and released on all consoles and PC.

NES Metal Gear 1 & 2, which I played on the PS3 HD collection, but want to experience the map and gameplay in modern MGS V engine.

NES Final Fantasy I with Knight, Red Mage, White Mage, Fighter. Not equipping Fighter with weapons gives him higher offense power.

As said by other posters of taste, Dungeon Keeper.

A modern Black & White could be fun too.
And don't get me started with the possibilities in a new Gene Wars ...

For what it’s worth, rather than a full blown remake I would actually prefer to see Crusader and Dungeon Keeper simply get the Diablo II Resurrected treatment. Keep the 2D sprite work, just make them super high resolution to make it easier on the eyes. Leave everything else alone. Ditto for other isomeric perspective games of that era like Diablo 1, the original X-Com or Syndicate/Syndicate Wars.

Damn you just jogged my memories

I never played any of the soul reaver games but remember them being a semi big deal back in the day, remake soul reaver for a modern audience.

I loved the first one but the storyline kinda went off the rails in the sequels.

Count me in, but only if it isn't remade for "modern audiences."

If the MGS3 Remake is successful, and great, it's practically guaranteed to be next.

Still don't know why they're remaking MGS3 first, but we're pretty clearly in the 2nd half of this console generation. Imagine if the MGS1 Remake is a PS6 launch title.

Same answer as I gave in my thread about unknown/under-appreciated older games: Crusader: No Remorse and Dungeon Keeper

Was dungeon keeper the one where there were succubus that wanted to be whipped and you had to keep them off the torture racks?
