I was so sure that Brandao was going to knock him out stiff in their fight and when he starched Brandao..I was like "hmm guy is pretty legit"

But never would I have ever thought he was going to KO Poirier. The same guy who took hell from the KZ for 3 rounds.

He got my attention on the Brimage fight... but after his 2nd fight in the UFC against Halloway I became a fan & thought he had good potential after pulling off a win with a torn ACL. 3rd fight against Brandao I waz full in with the Irish Diaz!

Brimage fight showed he had easily some of the best striking at FW...
 
poirier.but i still can't call him legit without a ground game whatsoever.he will get wrestle-fucked by most.
 
Started with Brandao, then solidified when he ran over Poirier.

When he starched Poirier I knew he was a real talent, but it was when,he ko'd Mendes on short notice that I knew he was a truly special fighter.

Never though much of Brandão as a top guy, wasn't at all surprised that he lost.
