What exactly happened to Jason Miller?

Getting punched in the head repeatedly. Drugs. Personality Disorder. Mid life crisis. Aliens.

Took it to the extreme.

Believed he was the character he played on tv

And that's because this world embraces sin and not the Saviour. Christ brings life and sin brings death. The more & more this world turns away from Christ, the worse it will get. It's just sad people are blind to the truth.
The fuck is this nonsense.

Miller stopped taking his medication. Similar to Charlie sheen Im betting.

According to rampage miller is back on his meds and doing good now.

He's always struck me as someone who tries just a little bit too hard to be funny or seek attention. In that recent interview where he smokes weed and smashes glasses, my impression was that he was angling for the infamous Charlie Sheen "winning" vibe. Unlike Charlie Sheen he seemed a little too self-aware and enjoying the attention, whereas Charlie Sheen appeared genuinely psychotic to me and lacking any real insight into his own behaviour.

I found the whole thing kind of sad. Mayhem clearly has some kind of mental illness, but that look of self-awareness in his eyes while he was showing off makes me think that there's a strong element of a personality disorder in his behaviour.

It's the gleam in the eye that I've seen too many times in clients with personality disorders. For example, someone with severe depression who wakes up in ICU following a suicide attempt will generally be very low, flat or tearful, and express a degree of shame/embarrassment. In comparison, a client with a personality disorder will wake up energetic and happy, apparently unaffected and unashamed of anything they've done. They'll appear to enjoy causing their family and friends worry, and will apparently be quite pleased with all the attention from the various teams of health professionals that see them. They'll push the boundaries of the health professionals, and can be generally exhausting to deal with. Basically like how your average Sherdog troll would be if their real life persona was anything like their online behaviour.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that he probably developed a substance abuse problem

Spot on.

Yep, RJK got it right. It's a shame though, he was pretty good on the ground.

Traumatic brain injuries are an ugly thing, and their implications are far reaching.

Unstability, mental illness, too many shots to the brain and drugs would be my guess. He had his own show, he nearly submitted Jake Shields, got a 2nd shot with the UFC and had the worst 2 fight showing I've ever seen. He didn't live up to his potential and I guess it all got to him. He needs a lot of help and the only thing I'd recommend is Jesus.

Props for for that last bit. It's a rarity for people to have that type of backbone! God bless you man!

agreed. We live in a hateful and much more mentally unstable world now.

I guess you are not into history?

We live in a safer more tolerant world in the history of world history.

People used to be way more fucking crazy and it is not even close.

God bless you too brother. Christ said many will hate you for following him and he's right, I try not to take offense to what some will say, it's more heartbreaking that they're blind to the truth. If I can reach one person, then it will all be worth it.

What did him in was the pressure of performing against the top guys in the world. He probably wasn't going to get cut because he's a fun guy and had a lot of charisma. But he got himself cut by freaking out back stage and throwing a huge tantrum.

Since then he's fallen off hard. The thing is, he has mental health issues and is likely self medicating and not getting proper treatment. I've been at a point in my life where I was a mess after a big failure. Failure hits certain people harder than others. Especially those who have grown up hard. Especially when you've tasted success and feel like you might be on your way back down to the dark days.

Failure is hard to overcome for the mentally ill. And he hasn't sought the help he would need to recover and get back in the game.

I think he could have a great career in Bellator. Hell, he might even become a Bellator champ. And with his charisma, he could even bring some attention to Bellator. He's just gotta get help.

Overrated, annoying, and mentally unstable.

Drugs and severe untreated mental issues. Told the story here a while back. A partner and I car stopped him a while back and he was so out there. Flopped on the grass, babbled incoherently and just was odd as hell. Then he had his stand off with the OCSD.
