What drives Conor McGregor now?

Agree but is this fight really for the best? It's like 2 mice are going to fight because the Cat is gone...

But why did the cat leave? Maybe the cat realized that the mice were catching up and went into hiding?

No disrespect to the cat.

The competition and maybe legacy, if he thinks he's not done enough. He did accomplish the career competitive goal to replicate Cage Warriors 2-div belts in the UFC. Has all the money. He likely makes more from other ventures than a UFC fight anyway, so it's the fighter in him who wants competition.

Money? fame? attention? legacy? adrenaline? pleasure? redemption?

What push him to go back in the octagon? he is filthy rich and few fighters can pretend to have a better legacy than him.

Khabib did everything well inside the octagon, filthy rich outside, healthy, young, allah love him, he retired. He can open any business now he will be rich forever if he don't fucked up.

I don't know if i would still fight in his position. How about you? What do you think?
You could just ask do you like Connor and the thread would be the same. People here lose touch with reality with certain fighters

The same thing that drove him before, his ego. Him losing to Khabib has been fucking with him and he desperately wants a rematch. So that obsession drives him, and hopefully he does get a rematch because he literally did better than anyone else against khabib in such a long time

Lol...Khabib retired after his father passed away...understandable...who's catching up to him? The current roster go swept...no more challengers worthy...they're all fighting for scraps...

He did better? Khabib beat him on the ground andon the feet...played with him...talked trash while on the fight...big brothered Conor...took his soul...

Compare Conors performances to Justin and Dustin. Conor did better in it but yes he still ultimately got his ass beat

I'd say something expensive

Lol you make it sound like Proper12 is Budweiser now....Go to your local liquor store...Celebrities have liquor that bomb...same with cologne etc etc... these celebrities including Conor are backed by liquor manufacturers to bring their name in. Use their names and make the liquor after them for their popular name...as soon as their name fizzle, so is the contract...I hope you're not thinking Conor Owns the whole thing...because that's unlikely.
So you are saying Proper 12 isn't doing well? It's obviously doing well. Most celebs that have liquor does very well. Diddy and Jay Z for example and they target a completely different market. Proper 12 targets everybody so it's more widescale and a cheaper price point and is available in almost every liquor store. You can't compare whiskey vs beer but yes they will be following a similar marketing strategy to Budweiser and other liquor companies for longevity.

Legacy? he got demolished by Khabib...he's going for 2nd prize here. What legacy is he going after? Most of the fighters duking out for the belt at LW were beaten by Khabib other than Kevin Lee, Tony and Charles O. You really think Proper12 is flying off the shelves? Nah...he's running out of money...
He will still challenge Khabib, and it all depends on total accomplishments. Conor still has done a bit more in total accomplishments and challenged himself more by not being in just one weight class, but being in 3 weight classes and winning a belt in 2 different weight divisions. So depending on what other accomplishments he is able to do with the rest of his career, his overall career can be better than Khabib even though Khabib beat him.

Just like Mayweather and Pacquaio, people feel Pacquaio has the better overall career even though he lost vs Mayweather due to his overall accomplishments. Both PAC and Conor want a rematch.

Do you know Conor's net worth? It's not hard to google, that is a far cry from thinking he is in need of money. Yes the business is the long game, he doesn't need to fight with his liquor business. Last time I checked it was doing very well and is continuing to do so. They wouldn't be spending that much money on advertising if they couldn't afford it or if the company was doing bad. Their advertising is everywhere so they are apparently doing very well to be able to afford all the promo.

"Allah love him". You sure about that? His father was friends with a known terrorist sympathizer. Oh nevermind..that would make Allah love him. LOL

Better than everybody else?

Better than Al that survived all 5 rounds? Better than Dustin that hit him good and had him in a tight choke? Better than Justin that was leg kicking the hell out of him? And lets not forget he cheated the hell out of that fight.

I don't blame Khabib coaches if they want another red panty night
Al lost to Cerrone. Khabib that fought Conor is better than the Khabib that fought Al. He fixed those holes that made that fight that competitive as evident in the Justin Gaethje fight.

If Conor was easy money they would take the fight because it's easy money. They understand the risk and even though it's a high pay day there's a lot of risk involved with fighting Conor.

No matter what it's an easy payday for him.

But now that Khabib is gone, his chances of being champ again have gone up significantly, especially since he's facing a striker in Poirier. Also the fact that the UFC throws titles shots at him endlessly keeps him one win away from being given a belt again.
