More touchbutt with ido
He has his business on top of his fight purse that keeps replenishing his income. Most people that blow their money like that from sports don't have business or any other income coming in besides from sports. So it's not really an accurate way to assess their situations. Conor really doesn't even need to fight anymore, like others said it's for legacy. He could stop fighting and still be set for life with his money from his business alone. He was a fighter first before a businessman - he wants to go out on top.The well is running dry...If Antoine Walker can blow 300 million in 3 years...so can Conor
Khabib being out of the UFC isn't the issue, he's been campaigning for a rematch for a long time. If Conor is successful he'll continue to call out Khabib for a rematch. The loss to Khabib is what got him to focus on his training and sober up. Conor wants to go out on top and he seems to hate losing. Losing seems to fire him up and he comes back better. So we'll see if there are more improvements to his game soon. He did come out of nowhere with some jumping shoulder strikes from clinch, so who knows what other unique techniques he's been working on.I think he wants to redeem himself now that Khabib is out of the UFC. He wants to be at the mountain top again
Most businesses lose a fuckload of money before making cash. So don’t be so sure about Conor being Soros type of rich with his whiskey thing. Sure, its a promising, growing business but way too green. And living the Maclife is expensive as fuck. Making almost if not 8 figures is considerable money that will be more than welcome. He has his business on top of his fight purse that keeps replenishing his income. You make good points here. Conor will be ready on point, I think we can all see that. When he's quiet he is dangerous. He's a businessman. Frankly, I 100% believe that a big part of his success is due to his psychological manipulation of his opponents (see Aldo running directly at the best straight puncher in the sport, and Alvarez circling right and not wrestling... Mendes sacrificing position for submission gets an honorable mention) as much as it is to his particular skill set.
That said, a sober focused Conor's a fucking killer. If he's taking the challenge seriously, he's a force to be reckoned with.
I still think that Khabib beats him. I just don't think that he dominates him everywhere all the time (R3 Conor cheated his ass off, so doesn't really count.)
Yes.Money? fame? attention? legacy? adrenaline? pleasure? redemption?
chaeffeur driven Bentley
Can people fuck off with this shit. There are plenty of reasons to keep fighting and pushing him. What about being the best? Do you know how many athletes accomplished more than Conor and made way more money than Conor who stayed motivated and on top?Money? fame? attention? legacy? adrenaline? pleasure? redemption?
What push him to go back in the octagon? he is filthy rich and few fighters can pretend to have a better legacy than him.
Khabib did everything well inside the octagon, filthy rich outside, healthy, young, allah love him, he retired. He can open any business now he will be rich forever if he don't fucked up.
I don't know if i would still fight in his position. How about you? What do you think?

Chad fought his usual game plan regardless of weather Conor trash talking him or notHe's a businessman. It's past that now. His liquor is everywhere and people will buy it not even knowing who Conor McGregor is. He's doing a good job promoting it in every major combat sport event including all the recent major boxing fights. His business will run regardless if he's fighting or not. That's why it was a smart business move. His popularity and promotion during fights was for the initial push, but now it's running on it's own. You don't get into the whiskey business at the speed and rate his company did and just think it's going to lose it's placement if Conor stops fighting. It's global now. Plus they can always use it to sponsor/promote other active fighters, celebrities, or other sports stars in the future. So it doesn't just have to be tied to just Conor's fighting career. Just like all the other beer and liquor companies sponsor other celebs, sports stars, fighters, etc to promote their business.Conor's business is tied to his popularity. His popularity wont be there if he legit retires
It was pretty obvious that Conor wasn't in his best shape. Will the results be different? Who knows? But it's a rematch I'm interested in seeing simply because Conor still did better than everyone else that Khabib fought. So a more focused and sober Conor could be an interesting match up. Khabib and his coaches still think that Conor is still the most dangerous match up for them. There is a reason why they think that, and they definitely know what they are talking about. So Conor's haters that are Khabib fans should pay attention to how they view Conor's skillset. If you are not focused and sober fighting fucking Khabib, you are not mentally tough enough. But thats just a BS excuse though. You damn well know Conor could have had the best and most dedicated training camp ever before fighting Khabib and he would have come up the same bull shit excuses you idiots are falling for. Conor was the same Conor he always was against Khabib. He was just fighting freaking Khabib.
