Trump and the conservative right, as much as you can't stand them, whether you agree with their views or not, you know exactly what they stand for because their messaging is very clear:

-Strict on border control
-Freedom of speech
-Liberty
-Meritocracy
-Manifest destiny
-Second amendment
-Conserve Christian and Western values
-Build a wall

etc...

Their views are very clear and out in the open, but what exactly is your message?

I’m way past trying to impress random losers on internet discussion forums, I can just tell you that I’m extremely confident in my ability to take care of myself and there is nothing you can tell me about your training or anything else that can intimidate me in any way, and I will leave it at that.

Funny you say that because that's exactly how I thought about him up until the other day.

Regardless of political leanings, I honestly try to engage with every person on here in the same way they engage with me, and for the most part me and him despite disagreeing on so many issues, have usually managed to have a somewhat respectful conversation.

But if there is one thing I can't fucken stand is when someone tries to strawman or misrepresent what I'm actually saying.

So the other day there was that thread where some shitbag Muslim rapper in the UK who killed some kid got released from prison and started putting out songs about killing the kid, and the BBC was airing his music, so of course people were appalled by it.

So @Hellowhosthat comes on the thread and says something like "well they play Led Zeppelin and Elvis and those guys were "nonces" or some shit like that, I guess allegedly they fucked some teen groupies or whatever.

So I asked him why they haven't been prosecuted for these crimes, and he himself tells me that it's because these things were accepted back then so no one thought it was a big deal, and I was like well there you have it, if it was the norm for that time you can't judge it with your 2025 criteria, and he disagreed.

So I asked him a simple question, if the speed limit on a given street was 100 km/h back in 1970, and it has today been changed to 40 km/h, should those people who drove 100 on it back in 1970 now get a ticket?

He refused to answer my question then started going around saying I'm defending diddlers and ped0s and calling me one.

After that I basically told him to fuck himself and that I won't bother engaging with him seriously because I don't think he's trying to have an honest conversation, and his response was to double down and saying shit that I shouldn't be allowed near a school or whatever.

So yeah, we were cool up until that point, just that that was really petty and dishonest.

Dude, full disclosure. I do not actually think you're a nonce. I just think the driving thing is a weird comparison to make and I don't get why you didn't just say "yeah if that true then that's fucked up" because even if it was socially acceptable I'm sure you wouldn't be attracted to children. Jimmy Page was and that's why I call him a nonce.
