What does Romeo have to change in order to win rematch

I can't picture him beating a two legged Whittaker tbh

I'm rooting for Romero but based on past history with rematches, the young up-and-comer almost always takes it because they're still learning and will add more tools to their game. Not sure what Romero can learn at 41.

Hit the legs even harder than he did last time and pace himself like he did in the rockhold fight, still Whittaker's boxing is probably going to be too much for him.

Do even more PEDs than he currently is doing and use those tactics like getting water doused on his head and shoulders and not have his corner dry him off, so he can get a little more time between rounds.
awww, is someone butthurt? i dont recall him doing anything illegal

Romero will bulldoze him.
Once he deals with that front kick from Robert that he used a lot and well it's pretty much over.
3rd round KO for the best MW on the planet.

Not sure if your stupid or what. Romera didn't pour water on his head.Someone listened to the Rogan podcast without realizing that even Rogan doesn't understand what happened.

The guys who put vaseline on you (hired by the UFC after the GSP incident) put to much on Yoel. John started asking Romero's coach to come in and wipe it off. The coach said No because they've been told they aren't allowed to mess with the Vaseline after what happened with GSP. That's what happened. It had nothing to do with water.

The funny thing is Rogan has had this explained to him when it originally happened. He's gotten so high since then he doesn't even remember.

Yoel seemed a little stifled with Roberts kicks, which Robert used a LOT to stop Romero’s offense.

Yoel is with a new coach now, a TKD coach to be exact. He prepared well for Lukes kicking game and took that out of the equation last time. I see him making proper adjustments in the standup department. Will it be enough? I hope so.....
Very good point, I think the kicks actually won Whittaker the fight they caused Yoel to gas. If yoel can defend against rockholds kicks he probably can do the same vs whittaker, but robby with two working legs is going to have a huge footwork and boxing advantage.

Let’s be fair, he did it brilliantly against Luke. That Romero is a danger to anyone.

Yeah but no champion has ever sustained their title on finishes alone. Someone’s entire game plan cant be to just wait patiently until you catch your opponent. Greg Jackson and other great coaches would never support this. This can be plan A, but you have to be doing something else in the process to get points on scorecards so that you can still win the fight if you never catch your opponent, because no one finishes every fight.

I stopped reading after your first sentence, honestly. I can't take anyone serious that questions my intelligence when they can't use you're in the correct context. Try again on a later date.

Ok well I suggest educating yourself on the subject and not worrying about mistakes people make trying to work and post. See the difference is I know the difference and made a mistake. You don't know what you did wrong and are simply spouting off nonsense.

For the record I am dumb if that makes you feel any better.

He is gonna need to be able to get Rob to the mat and crack him when he stands back up, otherwise he is not gonna match Rob skill for skill on the feet.

Fake TDs. He shouldn't commit to all of them, though, Whitaker has some of the best defensive grappling we've seen in the octagon. But, giving Whitaker something to think about is a good strategy. I'd say fake shots and go high with punches. Romero has to worry about getting kicked when he shoots, though.

A guy like Whitaker is super smart and skilled. Out pointing him will be very difficult at this stage. Just going at him is not a good gameplan. Probably want to take advantage of his already low hands; hence the the TD attempts.

Use his energy more efficiently like he did in Luke fight... he pushed really hard for takedowns in the first fight and gassed himself out and took pretty much the entire 3rd round off... that allowed Whittaker to get back into it and take over the fight... it seemed to me he tried for a lot of explosive flying knees and punches instead of letting them come like he usually does in his fights
