What do you think of an Open Office Workspace?

I prefer cubicle simply because I like to sleep in my lunch break....as do the majority, if anyone is working or doing something between 12:30 to 1:30 they keep quiet. We used to turn out the lights too but not anymore.
It's weird to sleep when you can see and hear others snoring or working

Where did you work that everyone has nap time?

I used to sit across this cute intern at my last job. She never made eye contact with me. Might as well have cubicles

You had her on the ropes dummy, you just needed to offer your expertise picking peppers and you would've been in there.

I'm English and everywhere I've worked has been like this; banks, energy companies, law film and now the government.

We even had a vote at my last place I'd we'd like to put in dividers but the vote was overwhelmingly against.

It's a lot more social and you get to know everyone and be more comfortable in the social environment.

You've still got meeting rooms and private areas if you need them.

I'm only in the office 3 days a week anyway, sometimes work from home or out at meetings or construction site offices.

not a fan of that office setup.
we have one floor which looks exactly like that OP (except it has offices and conference rooms along the perimeter). some of our other floors are similar to that setup in the OP, but is more nicely done.
I personally share an office with 6 other people in an open space office, but it doesn't really bother me much since i spend a good portion of my day away from my desk.

When I worked in an office, I had a door and a window and liked it that way. Cubicles and open offices offer no privacy. How do you think I amassed my post count?
