What do you think about Chris benoit?

He wasn't even that great in-ring and that's all he had. Him killing his wife and kid are why anyone talks about him now.

roided out midget on amphetamines (have links to support this)

He's a piece of shit. Didn't care for him as a wrestler at all. Never should be in the HoF and his memory should be erased from the annals of wrestling lore.

I'm really surprised TS & a few others have him as a childhood hero/fav wrestler, even the Benoit well before he offed his family,i could never get into him, found him incredibly boring, regardless if he was a 'good wrestler' I was more than happy when storylines had him in the background.

Horrible mic skills, boring move-set, midget, 0 promo ability, etc.

The guy is a low level mid carder at best. He played second fiddle to a prime dean malenko and I think that says it all.

One of the best ever in the ring. We'll never know the full truth of what happened outside of it.

Chris Benoit
Dean Malenko
Eddie Guerrero

The reason I followed reaaslin as long as I did, shame what happened in the end.

Man, I absolutely loved him as a kid. He and Eddie celebrating with their belts at WM20 was an absolute highlight of my wrestling fandom.

couldn't have said it better

rest in piss Benoit

Good wrestler, pretty awful promo guy, mark for his job, and a terrible person outside of all that.

If we are talking about him as just a wrestler...arguably the best in ring wrestler in history. What he lacked was charisma and mic skills but he more than made up with it once he was in the ring. His psychology and selling is about as good as anyone who's ever wrestled. He does the little things that I don't see from many, if anyone at all. I think anyone who has watched a Benoit match, be it from NJPW, WCW, ECW or WWF/E, can admit that he was a heck of a wrestler.

The subtle things that Benoit does that no one remembers nor anyone does anymore can be seen in the classic, and one of the greatest matches of all time, 2003 RR match against Angle. Watch the 13:40 mark in the video...that subtle move by Benoit is what is missing; it adds the element of realism to pro wrestling. The little things that are often missed by most pro wrestling fans and the same things that made Benoit, in my view, one of the greatest in ring wrestlers of all time.

But what he did at the end of his life will forever ruin everything he did in his life up to that point.

I never was a big fan of Benoit. His matches felt rather dull to watch most of the time.

Wrestling wise? He was amazing. Sadly, it's near impossible to enjoy that work anymore.

Benoit was very underrated. Its a good thing the WWE Health/Wellness Program is now available to all the wrestlers.

A Great Wrestler Who Had The Charisma Of a Can of Spam and Murdered His Family

Benoit was the only guy to get over by never drawing a dime for 15 years.

You have your blueprint Dolph Ziggler.

I was never a big Benoit fan even before he killed his wife and kid and i've been watching him since his early WCW days. He was a good worker but that was it, he was never good on the mic, his personality was literally having no personality, and he never drew a dime.

He was a great idol for people who love Vanilla Midgets and want them to be world champion *cough* Daniel Bryan *cough* but that's about it. Outside of 2004, he didn't leave that much of a void.

I think Benoit was better in WCW (in terms of wrestling) than in WWE.
