Hello i would like to start out by saying he was my favorite professional wrestler from the ages 6 to 14.i am in my 20s now. the way he died and the things he did beforehand put me into a depression. the man was my childhood hero. but up until recently I could not bring myself to watch any of his matches without feeling like I just watched a snuff film. maybe it's just me denying the truth I really would like to believe the man I knew as my childhood hero died before that day from years of brain trauma. but I still can't bring myself to completely believe that. i still respect him and his career. He was one of my favorite wrestlers before he killed his family. How do you guys feel with all these years gone by?

Chris was my favorite wrestler after Stone Cold retired and after him and Eddie I couldn't bring myself to watch wrestling at all again until earlier this year. I still think he's in the top tier of history when it comes to in ring work and I'll forever appreciate his work in the business.

I don't believe he was in his right mind and that's due to all of the head trauma and steroid abuse. It was a horrible thing he did and it was the most shocking Pro Wrestling death of all time. I was never a fan of the guy but he was an awesome wrestler to watch.

His matches with Angle are some of the best I've ever seen.

First class wrestler in the ring, obviously the lowest of the low outside of the ring.

I can seperate the wrestler from the man. But I don't begrudge anybody who can't.

Benoit was also one of my favorite wrestlers of all time.

And Stone Cold summed up the rest perfectly.

Mixed feelings I've avoided sorting out.

Up until the last weekend of his life, he was one of my all time favourites I cheered for since I first saw him against 2 Cold Scorpio on Collision in Korea. Legit teared when he won the title at XX.

But I can separate the man from his mythos, and don't think he should be honoured for his job because the way it all ended.

I was never a huge fan. Always thought there was much better talent in a full historical context.

lol at a roided out sociopath being a hero

fuck that piece of shit

Wasn't a fan of his as I found him boring, but think all the brain trauma he endured played a big factor in what happened when he killed his family/himself. Football players who have suffered from CTE and those suffering have done or they have said they have thought of doing acts of violence against the people they love because of their disease and some have killed people/themselves as well so I think that played a major role

His match with Chris Jericho against the Two Man Power Trip was awesome.

EDIT: He was killed off by Vince McMahon and his never ending quest to kill the Hart Dungeon. /tinfoil hat

One of the greatest in ring performers in the history of wrestling.

Disgusting and unforgivable thing he did to his family will always overshadow it.

At the time, I thought he was about as bland as it gets on the mic, but clearly a good worker in-ring. Never wanted to see him wearing gold, but enjoyed watching him orbit around it.

Can't watch the dude anymore though, no in-ring work is good enough to get me to forget the guy is a murderous piece of shit.
