What do you do on nights you can't train?

Hill sprints, heavy bag work, general conditioning....

...sherdog.net gets a lot of love as well!

watch the mundials, panams, etc. go back through and work on my training log, watch tournament footage. OCD is the way to be if you want to be great.

I like to get really stoned, throw on some music and just stretch for like a hour. (have not done in a while thanks for reminding) and do some yoga poses maybe. isometric balancing etc...

Sadly, I drink way too much beer, but on the other hand, I spend a lot of time with my kids.

Girlfriend,

Plus she also does BJJ but different school so we show each other stuff, not bad considering I am over a foot taller about 20kg heavier and she surprises me often.

Stretching in front of the TV.

That's the dream there. Someone who shares your interests but you don't have to spend every day with her doing them.

Make the most of the time with my wife and kids because I am away from them 3 nights a week training and often away for up to two weeks at a time working.

I play jiu jitsu with my four year old a lot. You'd be surprised how just playing at the movements helps you think about jiu jitsu. I get a lot of ideas during those games.

Yeah, my cousin has two boys (5 & 8) and I'll grapple with them sometimes. I'll play games like putting a hat on, and their goal is to take it away from me. It's a fun way to practice my hip mobility in open guard, and those boys love it.
