What do you actually call a concussion?

Concussion is a violent blow to the head that makes your brain bounce inside your skull

that leads to:

passing out
Disorientation
Dizziness
Loss of memory
trouble speaking...

if you didn’t experience none of these you probably weren’t concussed

You got some big time brain shearing going on bro. Imagine a potted plant that’s roots are growing too big for the pot. The roots begin to touch and connect with the sides and bottom of the pot, maybe even coming out through the drainage hole at the bottom. To keep the plant living in the same size pot, the gardener must pull the plant out and trim off all the connective outside roots before putting the plant back in the pot.

The pot is your skull, the roots are your brain, the gardener is your sparring partners, the plant is your future

I'm very very aware of the dangers of brain damage, and that's why I never wanted to compete despite arguably having good potential.
I just wanted to ask something : what would you call a concussion ?
For instance, over the years, I know I one time had a concussion (out for 2 minutes, it wasn't even in combat sports). This was a concussion for sure!
But many times (I would say about 10 times in 10 years of boxing), I got hit in the head clean, felt it, but was able to continue sparring and didn't feel impaired on the cognitive field at all. I exactly knew where I was, could tell what I did the hours before, everything was fine. I also didn't develop any headaches until going to bed at night. Had mild to moderate headache for anything between 24h and 72 hours. after But again, I didn't feel diminished (maybe a little tired and foggy, but that's it).
Did I have a concussion every time? How much does it take for something to be considered a concussion?
What is your experience with those things?
Be careful man.

I accumulated a few too many concussions over the years and I have struggled with migraines starting in my mid/late 30s. (Many years after my last concussion)

I was clean out cold 3x plus another half dozen or so minor concussions/got my bell rung in contact sports.

Not a situation I would recommend.
