Fixed most of the problems on my other computer.
I have the shittiest Spectrum internet service that would often go down and I'd have to unplug the coaxial cable and the modem then plug both back and then that usually gets internet back until it goes down again.
I had problems downloading and installing windows updates and I suspect it was because the unreliable internet resulted in corrupted windows update files. Not sure if related, but also had more than a handful of recent crashes where windows detected an error and had to immediately shut down and it would do a memory scan before rebooting and no issues found. While this was going on, Edge and Firefox browsers stopped working right. Edge wouldn't load pages and Firefox would crash upon trying to launch it.
I assumed waiting to install the next month's "cumulative" windows update would solve the problem, but no. I ended up having to run troubleshooter on windows update and scannow to try to revert corrupted files to previous cached versions and using Settings, Apps, Repair to install over Edge and install Firefox from fresh installation file. Still couldn't install one windows update even after downloading that one from another computer.
