Literally, the story is the good guys winning at the end of a finale. That’s how it works. It is no different if the bad guy wins the fight in the middle of a movie and loses in the end or the bad guy wins in the first movie and then loses in the second. Some movies will do it in one movie and some will stretch out to two movies and people will still go and watch it.
There is literally nothing compelling about these movies.
I don’t care for horror movies. They are redundant and make no sense to me.
War movies,. I’m pursuing my masters in history, so, war flicks are pretty crappy unless some well regarded historian has his or her fingerprints on it. If it is counterfactually history, I don’t mind since it is a hypothetical.
I enjoy movies where I cannot predict what Is going to happen. If I want to watch a predictable flick, I can always tune into some James Bond movie.
