What are you watching on the Network?

I mostly watch old PPV's from the years I missed. Or if I want a good laugh I'll watch some of the more terrible shows/events.

Planning to watch all the Manias before Mania, don't know how well that's going to go.

i've started watching the ppv's starting in 04. currently getting to the main event of wm 20. solid ppv so far.

the network really needs a better way to binge watch. this is probably what's setting them back the most. at the very least, they should be supporting building a queue of shit to watch. more helpful would be procured playlists, like "summer of punk" and "hall of pain". and even more of an improvement would be splitting their content into segments so that you don't have to watch entire episodes/ppvs if you don't want to.

wow. i actually just looked at the job listings for wwe and they aren't even hiring to improve the network. this honestly doesn't bode well for them.

I've been waiting for Swerved to come back, my boys really liked that show. They got a lot of decent shows on the network, I didn't care for legends with JBL though.

I'm not a fan of JBL as a wrestler or commentator but i really enjoyed the episodes of Legends With JBL so far.

I hope they make some Table For 3 Episodes, really enjoyed the first lot of them.

Legends with JBL is really good

Recently rewatched seasons 1-3 of Tough Enough...god that show was fun when it first started

Just started watching Breaking Ground. I knew they had Albert (Lord Tensai, whichever you wanna call him) as a trainer down in developmental, but was SHOCKED to see none other than Screamin Norman Smiley as one of the trainers there as well.

Swerved is alright. Alot of the segments are hit or miss

They have a Monday Night War series that BLOWS away the DVD that was released in 2005 or whenever it was released. I believe its an 8 or 9 part series.

And of course, NXT.

Looking back at one of the worst PPVs of all time.... Crooked refs, bad announcing, large women dancing, nWo B-team guys in half the matches, a dead crowd, Hogan vs The Giant part 25, X-Pac errrrrr Syxx in the best match, Oh the humanity!

---

Watching this week in RAW/Nitro from 97.

Raw crowd is dead early on and this is the night after Mania.

Steve Austin turning face seems a bit odd as he hit his stride over the past 5 months or so as a no nonsense shit talking heel and had lots of hay to make off that yet. I realize I'm saying this about the biggest drawing babyface in wrestling history.

Nitro was headlined by Prince Iaukea vs Macho Man. I'm sure they killed RAW anyway.

Ride Along, early late 80s/early 90s WCW(Flair couldn't shine Funk's Boots), and a bunch of Manias

do you remember a funk vs. lawler match in an empty arena, and it ends with funk losing an eye or something? strange random memory.

Watched a couple random matches today, mostly Sting matches

- Ric Flair vs Terry Funk (Chi-Town Rumble 89, I Quit Match)
- Sting vs Cactus Jack (Beach Blast 92, Falls Count Anywhere)
- Sting vs Big Van Vader (Starrcade 92)
- Sting and Flair vs Muta and Funk (Halloween Havoc 89, Thunderdome Match w/ Bruno Sammartino as the referee)
- Hogan vs Flair vs Sting vs DDP (Spring Stampede 99, Four Corners Match w/ Savage as the ref)

Recently I started watching PPVS post WMX8. I got deployed in 2002 so I missed a lot of that stuff. I'm into summer 2003 and man Brock was a shit champ. Obviously an amazing physical talent but soooo boring especially as a generic face.

On a related note I'm from Washington and Wrestlemania 19 was my best chance to ever go to Mania. Too bad I was somewhere in the Persian Gulf.

Watched the EACSTTROA last night...hilarious.

Total Divas,NXT,PPV's,Biographies, Monday Night Wars and random old matches. Last night some friends and I were having some drinks hanging out while some Shawn Michaels matches played on the tv.

When will they come out with the old Superstars and Wrestling Challenge shows??

Only thing missing from the Network. I wonder if it's about editing out all the local ads that they had going on at the time.

About to watch Macho Man's final RAW. It's been a journey...

Just signed up for the Network free trial. Watching the latest ep of Superstars now. First time watching Superstars maybe in years haha.

Anyway, it's so weird seeing Tyler Breeze just working a match with no story. Just a match. He's so lost outside of NXT :/

Watching every WM leading into Mania and probably Summerslam 02 or 03, whatever the megastacked card is.

Watching the nwa from the mid 80's when I was a kid. I thought it was amazing but now it looks like the studio held about 50 fans and they were all squash matches.
