Good thread idea. I've found that most unhappy people, you know the ones that are always complaining, always blaming, always self pitying......lack gratitude. Of course we can be upset sometimes and stressed but so many people constantly complain about what they don't have instead of feeling gratitude for what they do have.

1. Health - is relatively good
2. Kids - are relatively good
3. Job - is relatively great
4. Sobrieity - is relatively OK

My work life is pretty good right now. I didn't have a job for the past 13 years leading into July. Now I have a full time and part time that complement each other, I've met women at both, I enjoy both jobs. I should crack 6 figs in 2025. Should be mid 6 figures 2026. I'm very grateful for this

- I'm grateful that my parents and myself are fairly healthy.
- I'm grateful for security, having a nice roof over my head and enough money in the bank to take a couple of years off work if I so choose.
- I'm grateful to live in one of the best countries in the world with all the safety and opportunity that it affords.
- I'm grateful for savage attack puppies and good friends.

...everything else is pretty irrelevant tbh.
