What Are You Listening To? (Vol.57)

And to those passing out and sleeping late, this one is for yous guys. My favorite American songwriter after Zevon is Harry Nilsson.

Cool story, Nilsson's claim to fame was writing a banger for The Monkees. The song was called "Cuddly Toy". Harry at this time was a bank teller. When The Monkees hit on "Cuddly Toy", the record executives told Harry to quit his job, and the rest was history.

This live clip is a hybrid of two wonderful songs.

This one is for @Madmick It surprised me that you were a Radiohead fan.

This one was shot on P.T. Anderson's lawn. Of course Anderson had the camera on a rail. Really good stuff with Yorke and Jonny. I will never get over Greenwood being passed over for best score for "TWBB". The catch was that the music had to be made for the film specifically. It was a travesty.

Meanwhile in the hills of LA.............

Love it. Yeah, a friend sent that to me shortly after it was made. Everything they do is amazing.

A little different jam here. Bassist named Abraham Laboriel. This is a video of him receiving a fretless bass built specifically for him. I'll timestamp it to where he starts playing.
