Blasphemous 2

Well, I'm at the final one of the "bird" bosses, and she is an absolute bitch. It's that floating head and wings thing that just spams electricity attacks all over the room. Annoying as all fuck, but I think I've got a beat on her. Just gotta be patient, and avoid the bullshit in between main attacks. Still nothing compared to that "Aquaman" boss, that appeared to be incredibly simple, but took me countless tries to beat. Man, that guy was a prick. Just wave spam after wave spam. What's really annoying is that he seems so easy. Some devious design with that guy, and he was really the only wall I've run into so far.

I'm at about 26 hours with this thing, and it feels like it's winding down. Just one thing that's still a mystery to me, are those are those damn "glass bridges", that I still don't have a power for. I'm starting to think it's part of the DLC, but I doubt it, since some of those spots appear pretty early on.

I had played Balatro on my Xbox through Game Pass, but I bought it on my Switch and started over. I just had my best run ever, with a 10 million chip hand, and I'm still working on getting everything unlocked.
Had never heard of or seen this game ever until your screenshot a few weeks ago.

That was the last time I've slept....

Game is so good!

Lots of negative reception it seems like for the Nightreign DLC but I’ve enjoyed it so far. Good to finally have a new map to play through after six months just playing the same map over and over for each run.

Is it a stand alone game or expansion? Can you carry characters over or is it a new experience completely?

Nightreign? Or the DLC?

Nightreign is a complete standalone from Elden Ring. New experience completely, no carry over other than familiar enemies and weapons from the base game. The DLC, Forsaken Hollows, is just a new map for Nightreign with some new weapons, enemies and bosses.

I saw videos for the FPS Trapang2 and decided to go for it since it was also on sale. It seems pretty cool so far.

Really glad you guys got a new map. I watched a recent interview of From and I remember game director saying the team available to work on NR is very small with From A-teams busy on other projects. Continuing, Ichizaki said there will be no more DLC but the game will receive ongoing technical support and improvement.

Started playing Arc Raiders and having fun so far.

Only been playing solo and it’s been pretty chill. People just go about their business and goofy shit happens the bigger the robots.

Anno 117

Much easier and more approachable than some other, or probably most if not all Anno games. I found it easier to understand just on a visual level how systems are entwined. The russian neting doll of menus is still there, just something about the way they designed it just let's you see how they work much more easily. Looks beauiful too. Having a hard time thinking of a better looking strategy game, let alone city builder. It is definitely the best looking CCB I have ever played. Runs a little wonky, but doesn't affect much beyond being a bit annoying since I have a fairly powerful system.

The campaign can kick rocks though. Gave up after a few hours and hopped into sandbox. Will it stay strong as 1800 has? Not sure. Will see what they do with any DLC. Some different regions would be cool. Albion appears to be mid, though I haven't tried that map.

If you replay a game, do you start with a new data file or do most games give some perks from replaying using the data file you beat the game with?

Outer Worlds 2.

Just polished off most of the second world.

Explosives has really come into it's own, Engineering was decent on the first world but mediocre on the second and I haven't really bothered with Hack.

Despite many hours, I have the itch to start yet again, for the Science and Speech perks...

Currently really into Guild Wars for nostalgias sake. I'm really impressed by how well the games holds up even before Reforged was released. Other than that making a run through some old games like Return to Castle Wolfenstein and the likes.

In honor of my girl I was with for 10 years who gifted me Expedition 33 and TGA coming up I started it and...

I'M ADDICTED. I love you Clarissa. Thank you for this. Fitting that it was her final gift to me.
Instant classic. Up there with the greats. Enjoy.

Yeah, and because this game type is explicitly built for perpetual content and play, I have to think it was studio proof of concept to call it a wrap after only one content pass. Everything I've read was a Japanese translation, I should add, which sometimes takes remarks sideways, but game director confirmed the team and budget for Forsaken Hollows was already inadequate.

Makes me wonder what else they’ve got in the cooker because I can’t imagine Duskbloods is all they’re working on if it really is a Switch 2 exclusive.

Im hoping something gets revealed during the game awards.

Finished AC black flag

Pirate stuff was awesome, assasin stuff sucked, story was suprisingly good

Now playing where winds meet since it was free, supposed to be great for a free game
(no clue wtf is going on plotwise but it does look great)
