What are Sergei's chances against Jon?

I would MUCH rather see this than Stipe who literally has no chance against Jones, I would give Pav about a 25% chance, he can catch him at anytime and he's a hungry challenger, but it's Jones, he's too diverse in his game and he is the goat

Jon is a guy at the end of his career who just went up a division.

He did great exploiting Gane's weakness, which was basically the Poatan of HW without the left hook. But is he even saying the names of the younger and more well rounded dudes? I think he's too shop worn for longer battles with fresh HW.

I don't even see the logic in Jones wanting to go 5 rounds at HW, lmao, I'm with you on that. That's 25 mins of only needing to take one shot to go night night. His game plan should be the same every time out, work a shot the first chance it's available, and finish it on the ground as fast as possible while taking as little damage as possible. He won't last in a fire fight at HW. He mixes up enough that's he's still giving people problems on the feet, but his physical gifts aren't what they were at LHW, and these dudes only need one. I suspect, whoever he fights next, he attempts a TD very quickly.

Pavlovich seems to have good boxing and Jones does not, plus they have about the same reach. Though boxing range is shorter than kicking range and Jones is a master of using distance, I feel like a leg/calf kick strategy will be the go for Jones.

Sergei does have a chance but I'd be favouring Jones.

Dunno. For as reckless as he is in his personal life, the guy is pretty calculated when it comes to fights and doesn't sacrifice any advantage or roll the dice on giving one up, and doesn't like to face 1 shot KO punchers. I think he liked the Stipe matchup much better where he could get hit and not have to worry about 1 shot closing out the fight.
