What’s your unpopular ideas to make UFC better

1. point deductions for fence grabs, no warnings.
2. reduce buffers introduction speeches by 50%
3. after take downs you need to continue working, body shots don't count, if you dont get GnP or advance position after 20 seconds you are stood up.
4. knee to grounded opponent ok, if one fighter is standing. this will prevent aljo style turtling. still illegal if both fighters are grounded (to prevent knees from side control, upkicks from guard, or north/south).

Judges should be former fighters

Start implementing AI judging

Rankings should matter

Get rid of the steroids
Fighters tend to be very stupid and biased people. This idea that if all judges were former fighters is hilarious to me, you think that would be a fucking solution? It's like people telling analysts that their opinion is worthless because they never fought...only an idiot would think that's a logical stance to have and fighters make that stance all the time when they get criticized. You ever hear an interviewer try to ask a fighter tough or intellectual questions about MMA? Most aren't too bright, some are, most aren't.

But why you mad tho

Spend more money on fighters, and I don't necessarily mean bigger pay days for the big fights, but some of these elite fighters that are fighting outside of the UFC need to be scooped up. Invest in prospects instead of established talent, not these Tuesday night guys. I mean those guys are great too but come on we know what it is.

Ring girls should be totally naked <5>

Octagon should be made of plexiglass to prevent from fence grabbing. Also it would be more visible for live audience. Only downside is that they would need to clean them inbetween the fights.

all fouls should dock .5 points with no warnings.
Biggest fix would be increasing revenue share from 15-18% to 40-50% for the fighters...that alone would make the floor on pay so much higher that becoming a UFC fighter would be a serious accomplishment. I'd also say do away with win bonus pay unless a fighter/agent wants that in their contract, it's a bogus standard though. If the pay floor for fighting in the UFC was 50-80k (I know 80 is kinda high) it'd really make things a lot better.

I think on every given night any fighter should have the opportunity to make 100k. no matter who you are or what your rank. 25/25 should be the bare minimum. with an opportunity to make a 50k bonus

  1. Different styles of matches like Turkish Oil Wrestlin', Cage Match (haffi climb oot di octagon), Inferno 🔥 Shuld kno how fi scrap in all situation
  2. Unranked matches so mandem can settle beef widdout affectin' title picture 🐄🍔
  3. Semi-Annual BMF scrap only legends tho 💪🏿 basically HOF fi di hardcore fight fandem
  4. Al judgin' 🤖
  5. Executive Order: All fouls settled wid a free hit #PowerSlap style defense cheatin' finna stop IMMEDIATELY bet 💯 yuh survive di hit yuh earned di right fi cheat tho all good 👌🏿

I agree on the fouls. No mercy.

In the UFC's earlier days, fighters then were mostly one-dimensional and new to/learning a second or third combat sport and made legitimate fouls (hello 12-6 elbows). All the fighters know the rules long before they ever fight now. I can see this reducing eye-pokes more than accidental low blows but they are also far more game-changing fouls than a shot to the twig-and-giggleberries, so it's a solid start.

get a bottle of windex, some towels, and a Mexican maid = problem solved.

Make fighters who just lost the title having multiple fights with younger opponents before getting back to the top. Enforce inactivity penalties in terms of rankings. Currently, the same fighters block the division for too long. And there are too many cases of top fighters suddenly "falling out of prime" in a matter of a year once they start fighting new opponents.

Name them

Name them
Colby would be a good example the second he fought down against someone younger than him he gets beat up and TKO'd immediately, Cannonier another example from the cusp of a title shot to looking old and shot against imavov and Borralho, paulo costa only fighting up to keep him relevent only fights down against someone like rockhold. costa is ranked 11, but would lose to 12-15..... ect

Maximum age for judges and eye tests.
Those blind moles don't even see what is landing.
Also they should have some training.
