Not sure if I have ever eaten corned beef just salt cured salmon but now that I think of how it might taste it definitely sounds like that sauce would be a nice compliment to it as you say. Sometimes you want something with a lot of flavour pop and sometimes something to just smooth out the dish
 
I think i'm going to walk the doggo, and then grab takeout sushi and tempura for the fights.

Dabbing some unknown butter and smoking some unknown reefers (he told me names, but it was a couple weeks ago).

And as always, black tea, on ice.

Corned meat is fucking delicious. I do it easy in slow cooker, 2kg. Add and onion, 1/3rd cup brown sugar, 1/3rd cup apple cider vinegar, bay leaf, pepper corns, a few cloves, water to cover. A cheap cut that ends up perfectly tender and tasty hot or cold later in the week :)

Horseradish sauces are fucking great btw. They don't seem to be too popular for whatever reason. Or maybe it's just my bubble.
 
Either Pizza, Sausage on a bun or pulled Pork sandwiches the options are plentiful!

I grew up on stupid simple boiled potatoes, boiled sausage and horseradish sauce

I will use the recipe from that pic I stole. Funny how using a fancy pic has lead to this haha.
Yeah the corned meat and white sauce is nostalgic for me, in the same way. Plus it suits my life now, big chunk of delicious meat for the next few days, easy sandwiches etc too.
 
I havent done anything outside of normal cooking for a ufc in years. Cracking open a jar of my homemade pasta sauce tonight.
 
I'm making pulled chicken sandwiches with mash potato's and coke to wash it down. Might make some pudding after too for desert if I'm up for it.
