Media What’s everyone eating, drinking, etc. for New Year’s Eve?

Welp, the site is wonky today and I can’t post images…so I’ll just list what I’m eating and drinking. Maybe if it gets fixed soon, I’ll come back and add images.

These says, I prefer to do most of the celebrating at home, because I’m old. Plus I have better whiskey on hand than most places I go.

Eats— me and the lady friend are going out for a 5 course dinner.


Drinks—most people who know me here know I’m a big bourbon nerd, and NYE is a day when any whiskey I’ve got is fair game. So I’ll be breaking out some of my favorites from this year:

- Four Roses Limited Edition (we scored this around Black Friday but haven’t cracked it open yet)
- Elijah Craig 18 Year
-Weller 12 Year
- Michter’s 10 Year

For toasting the new year at midnight:
-either Knob Creek 21 Year and/or Rip Van Winkle 10 Year

Other libations: Good News and Mindy’s gummies, plus we’ve got our trusty Blue Dream vape.

Cheers this thread was a nice surprise in the middle of teh drought!

I had Burger King earlier a Whopper combo and Mozza sticks. Tonight I'll just do up some Nachos I think. I had plans to go out of town and a lot of peeps bailed so I bailed too. I didn't want to have to spend the night. Brutal winter this year and the roads are real bad also. So now I just have a buddy coming over here and we'll have a few drinks.

I have some honey sriracha chicken wings, they are pretty good! my sister made them for us because she has been visiting for christmas and new years. I have some cheesecake too, but haven't started on it yet

I'm on my post christmas cut, so I'm eating lot's of peri peri chicken and mixed leaf salad with protein pudding for snacks. It's honestly pretty sweet tbf.
