Kamala Harris is not a strong leader imo. So I understand why people had almost had no choice to vote for Trump.

But now that we have time to look back in hindsight, does anyone here wish they didn't vote for Trump?

In fact does anyone who voted Trump, actually vote for Kamala Harris instead?

While I can't vote because I am Canadian, my actual answer is that both candidates are garbage.

Trump is an awful person - Full stop. He is the antithesis of what the leader of the free world should embody.

Harris was disingenuous and should have never been the party candidate to begin with. She appealed to identity politics and the perception of being progressive instead of tackling the issues that the people actually cared about (the economy, illegal immigration).

America was presented with two of the worst choices for a political leader you could even attempt to put forth. It was an embarrassing moment for humanity and any concept of democracy.

As a Canadian, obviously couldn't vote....but chose double garbage in poll anyway.

Not American, but would have voted third party* and would do so knowing what we know now. Both are utterly horrible choices and "lesser of two evils" type of choice does not sit well with me.

*and Haley in (R) preliminary

I voted for Kamala Harris, but hated doing so. Thought she was a horrible candidate, inauthentic, a corporatist, and opportunistic.

Also had zero charisma and word salad artist that is too stupid to have a long form conversation and relied on talking points.

But I still voted Democrat because I know for a fact the Republicans were going to give more tax cuts to the rich and try to cut Medicaid and Social Security.

I do agree with Trump's deportations. Do not agree at all with his unfettered support for Israel and especially being pulled into any war with Iran at the behest of Israel.

Do not agree with his repeated attempts to cut taxes for the rich at all turns.

Yet there are people on here that were chastising those who said they didn't want to vote for either, because apparently that is a vote for Trump.

The worst thing you can be in America right now is a centrist. That's a very sad reality, although I figure that that has always been the case.

They’re both awful people. Look into Harris’s history as a prosecutor.

Today, Trump supporters are trying to convince themselves tearing the actual White House literally in half during a government shutdown is a good idea.
Build it and they will come..

Just like the most popular sport in America!

I agree.

I also hate how she leaned in to her black identity when it was convenient, but spent a large chunk of her career putting young black men in jail on bullshit drug charges.

How many decent people actually run for president? Obama seemed okay, but the later person I can say was definitively a good guy was Jimmy Carter.

Human beings are extremely good at convincing themselves that they made the right decision, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Trump could literally nuke the country into oblivion and I'd say at least 2/3 of his supporters would justify it by saying Kamala would've nuked it into oblivion twice, and then pissed on the rubble.

This shit is predetermined and rigged, they have enough data about everyone to know who is going to vote for and when.
