If you know what you're watching you were impressed. Yes Stipe is past his prime but so is Bones and he's coming off an injury. Literally the most skilled and vicious fighter I ever seen. He's unbeatable.

I think it was somewhat impressive, the take down, nasty elbows, deadly kick and just controlling the fight, managing distance and putting a sustained beating on Stipe.

It was not mind blowing or anything, considering Stipe is 42 and was knocked out cold against Ngannou.

I was also impressed with how tough Stipe is, not folding and going out on his shield

It went about how I expected. Jon moved better on the feet than he did against Gane, probably because he came in a bit lighter and Stipe looked old and rusty as fook.

his kicks were impressive and could give anyone trouble. everything else looked poor. mainly how hittable he was even by stipe who was very slow and had no power in anything he did. his last few fights at 205 he took alot of damage and was easy to hit. tom is about as fast as any of those guys probably faster? i think tom makes quick work of him. if he fights pereira. he takes him down easily and finishes it. that fight should not happen before tom.

Listen, it's simple. Either Jon Jones wants to retire or he doesn't. Jon Jones is absolutely within his right to retire. If he decides to retire in the next few months and vacates the HW title, I won't talk shit about that decision. It would be a smart decision. I respect Jon's right to walk away from the sport here and now.

But if Jon Jones holds the HW title hostage and ducks Aspinall for 12 months, then yes we have a problem. Jon Jones does owe Aspinall and UFC fans the right to have everyone see him unify the HW titles.
