Were u surprised that the warrior himself tapped out?

Yeah I was a bit surprised. Should have gone out on his sword and passed out without tapping after all that talk about not going out like a bitch. He was the most fearful I've seen in any of Khabib's opponents which was surprising too. Still in denial about it too claiming he was very close to having Khabib in serious trouble.

I don't think there's any shame in tapping.
Justin said before the fight he was never going to go to sleep though so that's on him.

But I suspect that when you're losing oxygen to your brain you might not really be able to make a conscious decision not to tap - sometimes you might just tap on instinct without really being able to help it.

When you spar, you've learned to inform your partner when it's over. When Khabib grabs you, it's probably tough to override what you're used to in training and it just comes out as a reflex. Maybe an old vet like Bisping can make a decision in a moment like that, but for most it's just immediate survival. Instinctual.

Yeah and not for nothing, I don't think there's any shame in tapping - even to strikes. If it's over, it's over. Live to fight another day. But I'm not a fighter and maybe this kind of attitude is why, so I don't know.

Justin was handmade to lose to Kabib, everybody knew it, he literally said on Rogan that they dont train bjj/grappling at all and if it hits the ground he will be lost and it happened.

Ali is the manager of both and he fed Justin to Kabib... it was clear, Justin is the kryptonite for Ferguson who had prepared 1 full year for a grappler with no adjustment time for Justin and Justin was handmade for Kabib because he has no ground game at all. styles make fights
“Everybody knew it” lol fuck off.

Most pro fighters and half of the MMA media had Justin winning. Khabib just proved once again why he’s the best p4p fighter in the sport. He knows how to win and makes elite fighters look like bums in the process.
