Getting skipped or bypassed nowadays isn't so far fetched given what's happened in other divisions (Diaz over Hendricks, Chael over everyone in two divisions, etc). One can only hope this isn't the case for Werdum however.

I don't understand the double standards..
Fabricio Werdum evolved his striking and overall game a lot in the last 5 years. And you don't want to see him rematch JDS ?
Chad Mendes evolved a lot in one year (but probably much less than Werdum did in 5) and everyone wants to see him rematch Aldo.
